[ 3.0 stars ] "I bought this on sale at West Marine today specifically for the locking marlinspike. Unfortunately, the blade does NOT lock and that is a safety hazard.The shackle key is nearly useless because it only fits small shackles, the blade must be opened to use it, AND because the blade doesn't lock, you have to be careful how you apply it to the shackle so you don't cut yourself.
