They seem extremely durable. Sets up and packs up easy saved the kids from sunburn. "Camped" out in the back yard with my 2yr old on night last summer in it and he loved it. Smart buy. ..." [ 5.0 stars ] "It's a little more complex to set up than a sportbrella but the quality is better and handles the wind better, we used it for a season of peewee football on the sidelines in the rain and stayed dry and out of the wind. I had to replace the lightweight aluminum stakes with good steel ones after the first use and the roof is a little low for standard chairs to sit in and see out on the field but ..." I used water bottles instead of sand for the pockets and longer stake. I was able to set it up by myself in the living room, but I need 1 more person at the beach.
